CL-BASE

The standalone base unit of the Connected Live product line (CL-Base) enables forward path video decoding, return video encoding, and CCU camera control in a single unit. The device combines our new integrated encoder and decoder that support 10-bit HDR video up to 1080p60 frame formats and a camera control indoor unit that unlocks our leading bidirectional camera control ecosystem.

Simple to setup and use with a 3G-SDI input and a 3G-SDI output port, the base unit requires a single network connection to encode and stream video to a remote destination, and simultaneously receive and decode a video stream from another destination. Utilising the widely supported H.264 encoding technique, the remote destinations can either be another CL-Base, a CL-RTX unit, or any other platform that supports H.264 over a standard network connection (e.g. VLC Player on a personal device).
